One of the top races for 3-year-old fillies, the Test Stakes is run at Saratoga every summer. Run at seven furlongs on dirt, the race was first run in 1922. Jockey Jerry Bailey has won the race the most of any jockeys with six victories while James Fitzsimmons has won the most of any trainer with five. Horses such as Vagrancy, Whirlabout, Miss Disco, Dispute, Moccasin, Gamely, Ta Wee, Numbered Account, Lady’s Secret, Safely Kept, Go For Wand, Jersey Girl, Dream Supreme, Society Selection, Dream Rush, Indian Blessing and Turbulent Descent have all won this race.
