A native of Venezuela, Delgado won the 2023 Kentucky Derby Presetned by Woodford Reserve with Florida Derby runner-up Mage, his third career starter in the race. Delgado previously saddled Majesto to an 18th-place finish in 2016 and Bodexpress ran 13th in 2019.
