First run in 1971, the Gulfstream Park Oaks was named the Bonnie Miss until 2011. The race has been run at three different distances in its history, seven furlongs, 1 1/16 miles and 1 1/8 miles on dirt for 3-year-old fillies, recently cutting back to 1 1/16 again in 2015.
