Patrick Biancone trained in his native France and in Hong Kong, winning races such as the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe and the Hong Kong Derby, before starting a stable in the U.S. in 2000. His best horses since then include Grade 1 winners Gorella, Asi Siempre, Angara, and Lion Heart. Lion Heart ran second in the 2004 Kentucky Derby and won that year’s Haskell Invitational Stakes.
