First run in 1987, the Beverly D. is the female counterpart to the Arlington Million held at Arlington Park. The race is open to fillies and mares 3-years and older racing 1 3/16 miles on the turf and has been a Grade 1 race since 1991. Euro Charline became the first 3-year-old to win the race with her 2014 victory. Other victresses include Flawlessly, Memories of Silver, Golden Apples, Heat Haze, Stacelita and Dank. In 2022, the Beverly D. was moved to Churchill Downs following the closure of Arlington Park at the end of its 2021 meet.
