Dank scored impressively in the Beverly D. Stakes, a Grade 1 race that is a "Win and You're In" challenge series race for the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf, on Aug. 17. With the 4 1/4-length Beverly D. romp, Dank cemented a place in the Filly and Mare Turf for trainer Sir Michael Stoute. She went on to make an impressive 2 1/2 length win in the 2013 Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf. Her two U.S. wins earned the filly a landslide win as champion turf female with her owner saying he hoped to bring his filly back to the United States in 2014.
