Gimme a Nother (SAF)

Gimme a Nother was bred in South Africa and began her racing career undefeated in her native country with seven consecutive wins in seven starts in her 3-year-old and 4-year-old seasons in 2023 and 2024. Among her victories was a Group 1 win in the Tab Empress Club Stakes on April 6, 2024.

Gimme a Nother was brought to United States to race as a 5-year-old and began her North American career in the barn of trainer Graham Motion with a second-place finish in the Grade 2 Hillsborough Stakes March 8 at Tampa Bay Downs. From there she also finished second in the Grade 3 Modesty Stakes on May 2 at Churchill Downs and finished second again in the Grade 2 Canadian Stakes on July 20 at Woodbine.

Gimme a Nother's stakes breakthrough in North America came with a victory in the Grade 2 $250,000 John C. Mabee Stakes going 1 1/8 miles on the turf at Del Mar on Sept. 6, 2025, when she topped a nine-horse field by a winning margin of 1 1/4 lengths in what was her final race of the year.

Gimme a Nother returned from a nine-month layoff to make her 6-year-old debut on June 13, 2026, in the Grade 3 $150,000 Eatontown Stakes going 1 1/16 miles on the turf at Monmouth Park. Sent off as the 6-5 odds second choice in a six-horse field in the Eatontown, Gimme a Nother pressed the pace all the way, took over the lead at the top of the stretch, and extended to a 3 1/2-length victory in her successful start to the 2026 season.
