Gulfstream Park Oaks

First run in 1971, the Gulfstream Park Oaks was named the Bonnie Miss until 2011. The race has been run at three different distances in its history, seven furlongs, 1 1/16 miles and 1 1/8 miles on dirt for 3-year-old fillies, recently cutting back to 1 1/16 again in 2015. Trainers Todd Pletcher and Shug McGaughey are tied for most wins at four each with jockeys John Velazquez and Jerry Bailey winning five each.  Winners of the Gulfstream Park Oaks include Herecomesthepride, Davona Dale, Open Mind, Dispute, Inside Information, My Flag, Banshee Breezse, Three Ring, and Justwhistledixie.
