Run at 1 1/6 miles, the Edgewood Stakes was first run on the dirt in 1983 before becoming a turf race in 1998. It is run on the Kentucky Oaks undercard as a race for 3-year-old fillies at Churchill Downs and has been won by horses such as Mrs. Revere, Magnificent Song, Laragh and Stephanie’s Kitten.
