Transylvania S. Presented by Keeneland Select

Run at Keeneland every year since 1989, the Transylvania Stakes is run at 1 1/16 miles on the turf for 3-year-olds. From 1996 to 2007, the Transylvania was run at a mile but returned to the original distance after that. Included on the winners’ list is Izvestia, Flying Dash, Silver Max and Medal Count (who finished second in the Blue Grass a week later).
