Zenyatta S.

The Zenyatta Stakes is a major late season race for fillies and mares at Santa Anita Park. The race is contested over 1 1/16 miles on the dirt and is open to females 3-years-old and older. Formerly known as the Lady's Secret, the race was renamed for legendary racemare and three-time winner Zenyatta before the 2012 running. It is often used as a final prep before the Longines Distaff, and is a "Win and You're In" qualifying event for that prestigious race.

Famous racemares to have won the race include Hollywood Wildcat, Sharp Cat, Azeri, Tough Tiz's Sis and most recently multiple champion Beholder. Jockey Mike Smith has a record five wins in the race while owners Jerry and Ann Moss and trainer John Shirreffs have the records for owner and trainer with four wins apiece.
