One of the last big races of the year restricted to 3-year-old fillies, the Prioress is run at six furlongs on the dirt. Run at the end of the Saratoga meet, horses who have won it since 2000 include Cavorting, Stonetastic, Emma’s Encore, Indian Blessing, Dream Rush, Carson Hollow and Extra Heat.
