A seven furlong sprint for 3-year-olds, the King’s Bishop is one of the premier races for sprinting 3-year-olds. First run in 1984, the King’s Bishop is named after the graded stakes winner King’s Bishop. Horses such as Houston, Housebuster, Salt Lake, Honour and Glory, Tale of the Cat, Forestry, More Than Ready, Lost in the Fog, Hard Spun, Caleb’s Posse and Runhappy have all won the race.
