The final major weekend of North American “Win and You’re In” Breeders’ Cup qualifiers is fast approaching, and activity will be constant – and exciting – at three U.S. racetracks as well as at Longchamp Racecourse in France. Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Ky., kicks off its Fall Stars weekend Friday, Oct. 4, and over three consecutive days will host eight Challenge Series races.

The commonwealth of Kentucky along with the rest of the southeastern United States is recovering from copious amounts of rain and wind following Hurricane Helene’s path through the region – but the inclement weather departed in time for the start of one of central Kentucky’s most beloved traditions, the opening of Keeneland Race Course’s fall meet.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 30, 2024) – The National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA), Daily Racing Form, and the National Turf Writers And Broadcasters (NTWAB) announced today that Britney Eurton and Lindsay Czarniak will co-host the 54th Annual Eclipse Awards, which will be held on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025, at The Breakers Palm Beach. Caton Bredar will be again serving as the Ceremony Announcer.

You’ve heard for years that Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Ky., is a must-visit destination if you consider yourself a fan of Thoroughbred racing.

There’s just something special about Del Mar, and if the first two editions of the Breeders’ Cup held at the seaside track offer any indication, the 2024 World Championships should be a magical event.

Fourteen championship races make the Breeders’ Cup a can’t-miss event year in and year out, but the allure of perfect San Diego-area weather, fantastic food, and the opportunity for a refreshing swim in the Pacific Ocean significantly elevate Del Mar as a host track.
