As a result of her dominant performance in the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, Enable (128 rating) has moved into the third spot in the LONGINES World’s Best Racehorse Rankings for 2017. Dubai World Cup winner Arrogate remains in the No. 1 position with a 134 rating, with Australian mare Winx in second at 132.

By taking the Arc, Enable improved her rating to 128 from 126. The 3-year-old filly defeated Cloth of Stars (125) by 2 ½ lengths while Ulysses (127) checked in third. Enable has won her last six races, which also include the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes, Investec Oaks, Darley Irish Oaks, and Darley Yorkshire Oaks, by a combined 24 ¼ lengths.

Meanwhile, there are several newcomers to the latest rankings. Leading that charge is World Approval (123), who followed up his victory in the Fourstardave Handicap with a win in the Ricoh Woodbine Mile Stakes.

West Coast improved his rating to 122 from 121 by following up his win in the Travers Stakes presented by NYRA Bets with a victory in the Pennsylvania Derby. Beach Patrol has won two major races in a row, the Arlington Million XXXV Stakes and the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Stakes to debut on the list with a 121 rating, good for 25th in the world.
