The Juvenile Turf Sprint made its debut at the 2018 Breeders’ Cup World Championships. The race is run at about 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf and will be open to all 2-year-olds. The purse for the Juvenile Turf Sprint is $1 million. It became a Grade 2 race in 2019.
