Bethaney Beaver grew up in Traverse City, Mich. She has been around horses her entire life from riding her pony in the backyard to being the sole rider on her high school equestrian team and making it to regionals.

Beaver currently attends the University of Kentucky studying Equine Science and Management as well as pursuing a minor in Agricultural Economics. She has always had an interest in the Thoroughbred industry but never had any experience until she moved to Kentucky. Once in Kentucky, Beaver adventured to Keenland, farm tours, and worked on a small Thoroughbred breeding farm.
