Triple Crown Halter Auction to Benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities

The Life

Ever wanted to own a piece of a Triple Crown winner? Now’s your chance: Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass is auctioning off halters from the two most recent Triple Crown winners: American Pharoah and Justify. The halters, which were donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass by Coolmore America’s Ashford Stud, are mounted in museum-quality shadow boxes complete with commemorative photos of the horses’ Triple Crown wins.

These two exact halters recently sold at an auction for more than $13,000; this time, each can be had for a $50 donation to the charity, which provides programs which directly improve the health and well-being of children and keep families together in times of medical need. While the raffle is open until Sept. 30, only 300 tickets will be sold for each halter. For more information or to buy a ticket, please visit the event page here.
