The busiest time in North American horse racing aside from Kentucky Derby week has arrived. National and international horse racing media outlets will direct their coverage to Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Ky., all week long as contenders make final preparations for 14 races comprising the 43rd Breeders’ Cup World Championships held Oct. 30-31. Television, streaming, and radio coverage of the Breeders’ Cup will be plentiful, with all World Championship races shown live on NBC/USA Network and also on FanDuel TV.

NBC Sports presents 10 ½ hours of live Breeders’ Cup coverage spanning both days of the event. On Future Stars Friday, Oct. 30, all five Breeders’ Cup races plus three undercard races at Keeneland will air during a show from 1 p.m.-6 p.m. ET on USA Network. Then on Saturday, Oct. 31, coverage starts on USA Network from 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m. ET, showing four Breeders’ Cup races, before switching to a national broadcast on NBC from 3:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. ET for five more Breeders’ Cup races, culminating with the $7 million Longines Classic. All races will also be streamed on Peacock.
FanDuel TV will broadcast all Breeders’ Cup races live Friday and Saturday on what’s called the “Breeders’ Cup Players’ Show,” which presents coverage from a horseplayers’ perspective. The “Breeders’ Cup Players’ Show” will also be available to stream on breederscup.com, Peacock, and the Breeders’ Cup’s social media channels.
FanDuel TV’s “Breakfast at the Breeders’ Cup” show focusing on morning workouts continues its daily run through Thursday, Oct. 29, starting at 7:30 a.m. ET on the channel. And FanDuel TV will broadcast the Rood & Riddle Breeders’ Cup Post Position Draw on Monday, Oct. 26, from Keeneland’s sales pavilion starting at 5 p.m. ET (also available on breederscup.com and the Breeders’ Cup’s social media channels).
Live racing from other tracks including Churchill Downs (Wednesday, Oct. 28, and Thursday, Oct. 29), Santa Anita Park, and Woodbine will also air on FanDuel TV during Breeders’ Cup week.
“America’s Day at the Races” presents live racing from Belmont Park from Wednesday through Sunday, Nov. 1, this week, airing on FOX Sports. The NYRA-produced program will also show live harness racing from The Meadowlands on Saturday evening, Oct. 31 – and once again FOX Sports will broadcast Australia’s most prestigious race, the Melbourne Cup, on a Monday evening show, Nov. 2. Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire, and Roku.
