The Jockey Club Safety Net Foundation will host its annual Fashionable Fillies Luncheon in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., at Saratoga National Golf Club on Monday, August 4, 2025.

This year’s keynote speaker and honoree is Lindsay Czarniak. Czarniak is a highly experienced media personality who has been working in sports journalism for more than two decades. Throughout her career, Czarniak has served as a host, anchor, sideline reporter, pit reporter, and international correspondent for a multitude of networks. She has covered numerous sports, including horse racing, the Olympics, the Super Bowl, NBA, and NASCAR.

In addition, Czarniak is a Thoroughbred owner through "A Stake in Stardom," an initiative of America’s Best Racing that markets the sport to a new generation of fans by giving influencers part ownership in a racehorse through collaboration with ownership groups such as West Point Thoroughbreds.

Czarniak also recently hosted a multipart video series highlighting the healing power of horses through the Stable Recovery program, an initiative co-founded by Christian Countzler and Frank Taylor that aims to help those fighting addiction and aid them in their pursuits to secure employment in the equine industry.

“We’re so honored and pleased that we’re able to host the Fashionable Fillies Luncheon again this year. We’ve been able to raise money every year to help support individuals in the Thoroughbred industry who are in need, and we will always strive to represent and support the people who make racing possible,” said Shannon Kelly, executive director, The Jockey Club Safety Net Foundation. “Having Lindsay, who has such passion for the sport and helping others, as a keynote speaker makes this year’s luncheon even more special.”

The Fashionable Fillies Luncheon has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to assist those in need in the racing industry. This year’s event is a tea and hat luncheon and will feature pop-up shops that include jewelry from Patty Tobin, handbags from Kent Stetson, and hats by Christine A. Moore.

Tickets ($160) and sponsorship opportunities are available at bit.ly/3Favst8.
