One of the most anticipated weekends in the annual horse racing schedule is upon us, as Saratoga Race Course in upstate New York begins its meet Thursday, July 13. The 40-day meet stands alone in the minds of many fans and horseplayers, providing high-quality racing in a historic setting that generates an incredible amount of enthusiasm from mid-July to Labor Day weekend. Learn more about “the Spa” in ABR’s Beginner’s Guide.

Following a four-day stretch starting this Thursday, racing at Saratoga will be held from Wednesday-Sunday each week until the final week, when the meet will wrap up on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4.

NYRA and Fox Sports bring back the popular “Saratoga Live” show to provide coverage of racing from the Spa every day, and this year more Saturday race dates will air nationwide on FOX, showcasing major events such as the Whitney Stakes on Aug. 5 and the Runhappy Travers Stakes on Aug. 26. Overall, NYRA and Fox Sports are scheduled to present 230 hours of live coverage throughout the meet.

For opening weekend, “Saratoga Live” airs on either FS2 and FS1 from Thursday to Sunday, July 16 – check the below schedule for air times.

Racing from Gulfstream Park, Monmouth Park, Woodbine, and other tracks will air on FanDuel TV as part of the network’s daily comprehensive coverage. FanDuel TV will also show racing from Colonial Downs in Virginia, which begins its increasingly popular meet the same day as Saratoga, Thursday, July 13.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.
