The 2022 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve is in the history books, where it will have a prominent position in chapters titled “Biggest Upsets” or some approximation thereof. Now, attention turns to the 147th running of the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico on May 21, where, as of this writing, Derby winner Rich Strike will be absent but the horse he passed near the finish line at Churchill Downs, Epicenter, could face the Longines Kentucky Oaks winner and some formidable new shooters.

In the meantime, late spring racing is in full swing across North America and TV coverage is plentiful. Action from Belmont Park and Churchill Downs will be featured on “America’s Day at the Races.” The NYRA-produced show airs this week from Thursday to Sunday (May 12-15) on FS2 – check the schedule below for air times. (Coverage of racing Saturday afternoon, May 14, is tentative and may be pre-empted by a NCAA playoff college softball game.)

TVG will show races daily from Santa Anita Park, Gulfstream Park, Woodbine, and a host of other tracks as part of its usual package, including the spring Pimlico meet, which begins May 12.

For livestreming content, ABR’s show “Devine and the Dog” is back Wednesday, May 11, beginning at 6 p.m. ET. Hosted by racing analyst Megan Devine and horseplayer and raconteur Chase Sessoms, aka “The Wolf of Oaklawn,” “Devine and the Dog” can be streamed on ABR’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube channelsas well as Megan’s Twitter channel and Chase’s Twitter channel.

The popular “La Trifecta” also returns this Thursday, May 12 at 8 p.m. ET for a new show. Presented en Español, “La Trifecta” is hosted by Darwin Vizcaya, Claudia Spadaro, and Annise Montplaisir. This week’s show will be broadcast on ABR’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube channels.

In addition to the regular show, a special “La Trifecta” will stream Friday, May 13, at 8:30 p.m. ET with Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve-winning jockey Sonny Leon. Tune in on ABR’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channels.
