The prep season for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve is in full swing as the second weekend in February approaches, with two more preps offering valuable qualifying points to the May 7 run for the roses on the schedule.

At Tampa Bay Downs, the Sam F. Davis Stakes will be held Saturday, Feb. 12, and across the continent Golden Gate Fields runs the El Camino Real Derby later that evening. Both races offer Derby points to the top four finishers on a 10-4-2-1 basis.

Davis will also be televised on NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races” program along with races from Aqueduct and Oaklawn Park“America’s Day at the Races” airs from Friday to Sunday on FS2 – check the below schedule for air times.
