Saturday’s Dubai World Cup Festival at Meydan Racecourse brought together racing’s international elite and thousands of fans to celebrate fashion, fireworks, music, and first and foremost, some of the world’s best horse racing.

All eyes focused on the $10 million Dubai World Cup, the last stakes race in a card that offered $29 million in total prize money. Thirteen challengers squared off against the world’s top-ranked racehorse, Juddmonte Farms’ Arrogate, who shipped to Dubai off of a win in the $12-million Pegasus World Cup Invitational.
