Roll On Big Joe

Roll on Big Joe won his maiden race as a 3-year-old on Jan. 22, 2023, at Gulfstream Park in his only win in three outings that year. He was back as a 4-year-old in 2024 with a pair of allowance optional claiming wins, first at Gulfstream Park and then Santa Anita. He later finished second in the Grade 2 Santa Anita Sprint Championship Stakes on Sept. 29.

Roll on Big Joe won his 5-year-old debut at Santa Anita on Jan. 3, 2025, and then parlayed that into his first career stakes win in his next start in the Grade 3 $100,000 going six furlongs at Santa Anita on Feb. 15. He became a stakes winner again on June 28 when he took the Grade 3 $250,000 Kelly's Landing Stakes going 6 1/2 furlongs at Churchill Downs with a three-quarters of a length victory atop a field of eight sprinters including favorites Booth and Dr. Venkman.
