Ready To Venture was shipped to North America to the barn of trainer Mike Stidham for her 4-year-old campaign in 2022. She won four of nine starts with eight top three finishes in 2022, with victories in the H.B.P.A. Stakes at Presque Isle Downs in October and the Holiday Inaugural Stakes in December, both on all-weather surfaces, among the highlights.
Unplaced in two starts to begin her 5-year-old season, Ready To Venture regained her winning form with a 1 ¼-length victory in the Grade 3 Seaway Stakes Sept. 17, 2023, on the main track at Woodbine for her first win in a graded stakes race.
Group 3-placed winner Wonderstruck, by Sea The Stars, is the dam (mother) of Ready To Venture. Wonderstruck is a half-sister (same dam, different sire) to European champions George Washington and Grandera.
