Amazing Grace made her North American debut with a victory in the Grade 3 $150,000 Orchid Stakes at Gulfstream Park on April 1, 2023, which was also the first start of her 5-year-old campaign. In the Orchid, she ran the distance in a winning time of 2:28.82 for the 1 1/2 miles over firm turf for a half-length victory atop an eight-horse field.

Amazing Grace came across the pond from Germany off a six-month layoff after being last seen racing in Germany in the late stages of 2022. Amazing Grace beat females a Group 2 race at 1 ½ miles on Sept. 3, and then finished third, beaten only three lengths, versus males including Breeders’ Cup Turf winner Rebel’s Romance in the Group 1 Preis Von Europa on Sept. 25, 2022. Amazing Grace's European career at ages 2, 3, and 4 spanned 15 races in Germany, Italy, and France and yielded four wins.
Amazing Grace resides in the barn of trainer Christophe Clement since arriving stateside. She was bred in Germany by the German sire Protectionist out of the German mare Amabelle by Danehill Dancer.
