This weekend is a big one not only at the tracks but in the StableDuel app. If you haven’t yet checked out the StableDuel app, now is the time. 

The familiar format of fantasy football has now reached the great sport of horse racing. New to betting? No problem. Not a fan of traditional betting? Also no problem! StableDuel is a way to play the races with and against your friends. PLUS, you have more ways to win even if your horse doesn’t cross the finish line first. AND… you can play FOR FREE! 

So how’s it work? Download the StableDuel app and create your account. Choose a cool name for your stable, as that is what will show up on the game and annual leaderboard! Then choose which game you want to enter and select your 10 horses within the given $50,000 bankroll. You can look at each horses past records by clicking on their name – if you need help selecting the right ones – check out the Speed Rank, Value Rank, and RISK. 

Once you have your stable of 10 horses – submit and wait until the game locks at first post (the first race). Each race, you’ll see your horses get points and watch your stable climb the leaderboard. You get points for finishing positions 1 through 5, and you also get points for lengths if your horse wins, or subtract lengths if your horses loses. For example:

Your horse wins by 10 lengths, you get 60 points plus the 10 lengths = 70 points in your stable,

In the same race, the second-place horse lost by 10 lengths, so the horse gets 40 points for second place MINUS those 10 lengths = 30 points in your stable.

So, why this weekend? Saturday, StableDuel is hosting the $20,000 Pacific Classic Challenge at Del Mar – for a $150 entry you could win thousands! If that is not enough, roll it on to Sunday’s Queen’s Plate $10,000 Jewel at Woodbine with a $125 entry. 

From California to Canada, horse racing is always running and this weekend it’s running some of the best. You can be a part of the entire raceday right in the StableDuel app. Invite your friends and get involved in some of the free games for practice. 

There are multiple entry levels that allow you to get in the action at whatever price point you feel comfortable. If you haven’t, check out the Double Up games and the Triple Ups! In a Double Up, the top 40% of finishers will double their entry, and in the Triple Up the top 25% will triple their entry. Simple as that.
