Stay Lucky offers participants the opportunity to win great prizes by stringing together winners in Thoroughbred races. Unbroken streaks of five, seven, nine, 14, 17 and 20 reward the players with a prize or choice of prizes. Terms and conditions apply.

The object is simple: pick winners from North American graded stakes races that draw at least seven entrants. Races will be scored in real time but streaks will be updated only once daily to make sure they are scored in the correct order.

Pick as many races each weekend as you like, but be sure to play at least one race every weekend or your streak will be reset.

This weekend’s Stay Lucky slate is headlined by multiple graded stakes on both Saturday and Sunday at Woodbine.

Saturday, Sept. 19

Singspiel Stakes (4:27 p.m. ET): Tiz a Slam (#7) has not been good this year or really for the last 12 months, but he does love this turf course (5-for-10) and he won this race a year ago. The most lukewarm of selections. I’d pass the race unless I was sitting on zero.

Ricoh Woodbine Mile Stakes (5:39 p.m. ET): March to the Arch (#1) figures to get an ideal setup here with a ton of pace in this race to set up his explosive finishing kick. He’s 2-for-2 at Woodbine and enters off a dominant win at this course and distance.

Sunday, Sept. 20

Summer Stakes (4:29 p.m. ET): This one-mile “Win and You’re In” race for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf features the first- and third-place finishers in the 6 ½-furlong Soaring Free Stakes on Aug. 23 at Woodbine in Gretzky the Great (#4) and Ready to Repeat (#3), respectively. There are also a couple of Saratoga shippers to contend with, both exiting a slowly-run 1 1/16-mile turf maiden on Aug. 8. I will be playing the winner of that Spa race, American Monarch (#5), to win if he’s more than 3-1 odds Sunday, but I'm not starting a Stay Lucky streak with him. –Patrick Reed

Salvator Mile Stakes (4:41 p.m. ET): This well-matched field features several horses with proven form at Monmouth Park, led by Jersey-breds Golden Brown (#5), who’s four for nine with two seconds and one third, and Prendimi (#2), who’s five for 13 with five seconds and two thirds and outlasted Golden Brown in the 1 1/16-mile Charles Hesse III Handicap on Aug. 30. I’m actually looking to the rail and Bal Harbour (#1), who’s won once at Monmouth with two seconds and three thirds but has a back-class advantage on this field, having nearly won the Woodward Stakes at Saratoga last year. He’s coming into this race in his third start off a long layoff and may be ready to fire his best shot – good enough for a Sunday Stay Lucky play. –Patrick Reed

Natalma Stakes (5:35 p.m. ET): Alda (#5) and Dreaming of Drew (#4) finished nearly on even terms in the Catch a Glimpse Stakes going 6 ½ furlongs on Aug. 23 at Woodbine, with the former prevailing by a nose. The pair return for this one-mile “Win and You’re In” prep for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. I actually think well-bred Woodbine maiden winner Lady Speightspeare (#6) has a shot in this race at what should be good odds, but I’m passing on this race for Stay Lucky. –Patrick Reed
