John Piassek is the the assistant race secretary at Yonkers Raceway, where he also serves as an occasional chart caller and track announcer. He is also Maryland racing handicapper for The Racing Biz. Originally from Cranford, N.J., Piassek worked as a content manager for America’s Best Racing from 2021-22 and also worked as a race office member, social media manager, and publicist for Freehold Raceway and as communications manager for the Maryland Horse Breeders Association.
