Hit Show Targets Hagyard Fayette Stakes Three-Peat Saturday at Keeneland

10.22.2026

Hit Show, the 2025 Dubai World Cup winner and a career earner of more than $9.5 million, will try to win the Hagyard Fayette Stakes for the third year in a row Oct. 24 at Keeneland Race Course.

The Fayette has been won over the years by stars such as Summer Squall, Blame, and Wise Dan among others, and Hit Show can join Royal Harmony (1969, 1970, 1971) as the only horses to win three consecutive editions of the Fayette in Saturday’s 69th running.

This year marks the 150th anniversary of Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, the sponsor of the 1 1/8-mile dirt race, as well as the 90th anniversary of Keeneland, making this year’s Fayette a historic event on more ways than one.
