The 2024 DraftKings Travers Stakes is shaping up to be a terrific race with Belmont Stakes winner Dornoch, Longines Kentucky Oaks winner Thorpedo Anna, champion Fierceness, and Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve runner-up Sierra Leone expected to compete Aug. 24 at Saratoga Race Course.

The 1 ¼-mile, Grade 1 Travers, known as the “Mid-Summer Derby,” is the centerpiece of Saratoga’s summer meet and the most sought after prize for 3-year-old racehorses outside of the Triple Crown. It’s been won by some of the sport’s biggest stars since its inaugural running way back in 1864.
