Showing off her potential with a strong burst of late speed, Fully Subscribed stamped herself as a filly to watch next year as she drew away to a 4 1/2-length victory over Kentucky Oaks runner-up Drexel Hill in the $300,000 Grade 2 Mother Goose Stakes for 3-year-old fillies going 1 1/8 miles Nov. 8 at Aqueduct Racetrack.

"She's trending the right way. She's a filly we always thought a lot of. She had a challenging, wide trip today and still motored home. I was very impressed," trainer Chad Brown said. "She's had three consecutive good races in her form cycle and now a Grade 2 under her belt. She will be a central part of our 2026 plans."

Making just her fourth career start, Fully Subscribed followed up a sharp second in a 1 1/8-mile allowance optional claiming race on Sept. 28. Now with a victory at the same distance in her stakes debut, she confirmed Brown's belief in her distance capabilities.

"I've been looking to get her to a mile and an eighth. She was second to a good filly in her first try and earned a good number. I thought she could at least match that number or improve here," Brown said.

The five-time Eclipse Award-winning trainer said the filly owned by Klaravich Stables and bred by Payson Stud in Kentucky will head to Florida for some time off after Saturday's win.

Queen Azteca set the early pace in the Mother Goose, rattling off an opening quarter mile of :24.00 with Godolphin's Lemon Zest chasing in second while jockey Dylan Davis was reserving Fully Subscribed in seventh in the field of nine. The action did not pick up until the final turn when Fully Subscribed and Drexel Hill, who was last early in her first race since May 2, moved together on the outside to challenge for the lead.

In the stretch, it was no contest. Fully Subscribed motored to a 2 1/2-length lead at the eighth pole and widened the margin from there to complete the 1 1/8 miles in 1:49.73 as the 7-2 favorite ($9.00 to win).

"I felt good on the final turn," Brown said. "I thought we had the better position. Then after getting the lead, she re-broke and motored home."

Drexel Hill, trained by Whit Beckman, ran well for second in her first race since finishing second at 32-1 odds in the Grade 1 Longines Kentucky Oaks.

"It was a great comeback effort," Beckman said. "I think fitness and the layoff kind of got to her by the quarter pole when she drifted wide. She motored home well and we're happy to get second."

Lemon Zest, trained by Brad Cox, held on for third by a neck behind Drexel Hill.
