Forged Steel won his maiden race in his second career start as a 2-year-old on Aug. 11, 2024, and he later recorded his second lifetime victory in his 3-year-old debut in an allowance optional claiming race at Gulfstream Park on Feb. 9, 2025.
Forged Steel began 2026 in his best career form to date. He won an allowance optional claiming race at Tampa Bay Downs on Feb. 6 and then shipped to Oaklawn Park to secure another allowance optional claiming win on May 2.
