Katie Tarasevich is an adult amateur from the small town of Catlett, Va. She owns, operates, and trains from The Harley Horse Farm. Her farm features over three acres of trail obstacles ranging from basic to the most creative — specializing in an obstacle for any horse!

Katie has been involved with horses her whole life and has never let life get in the way of having horses. She had to leave her own horses behind for six years to travel the world for her job. That decision did not stop her from being involved with horses—she has ridden ponies in the Caucasus mountains, galloped an Arabian in the Dubai desert, and ridden Spanish horses up to volcano lagoons in Nicaragua.

She focuses on training horses with an all-around approach, giving them opportunities to shine in several disciplines and for exposure to many environments. Katie is a proud New Vocations aftercare adopter with two Standardbreds and she is now currently training the “global millionaire” horse Drafted—who has raced in three continents! And for an added twist, she has a second 2024 RRP hopeful, “Widget Factory,” who she received from her racing connections at Hollywood Casino At Charles Town Races.
