As an unprecedented year winds down and cases of COVID-19 rise across North America, horse racing world like all other areas of society continues to make changes in response to the pandemic. Many racetracks currently operating are doing so without spectators or with limits to attendance, and have instituted strict safety screening protocols for essential employees who are already on the grounds to provide daily care for horses. Charities are ramping up services to help track workers, while many other organizations including the Jockey Club Safety Net Foundation are redirecting resources to support medical efforts to combat the spread of the virus and support backstretch workers. The 37th Breeders'  Cup World Championships was held last weekend Keeneland Race Course, but premier racing continues at tracks around the continent. 

Racing from Aqueduct and Churchill Downs is televised on “America’s Day at the Races." The NYRA-produced show runs Wednesday through Sunday this week on FS2. The shows will also air on MSG+ and on regional Fox outlets Prime Ticket and Fox Sports San Diego – check NYRA’s website for those dates and times. 

Racing from Del Mar and other tracks will be shown on TVG as part of its coast-to-coast coverage.

ABR's live streaming show “La Trifecta” continues this week, airing Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. ET. The show will be presented en Espanol and be hosted by Claudia Spadaro, Darwin Vizcaya, and Annise Montplaisir. The show will be streamed on ABR’s Facebook Live, Twitter and YouTube channels.
