The countdown is on to the 41st Breeders’ Cup World Championships set for Nov. 1-2 at Del Mar, and attention within and outside of the world of horse racing is focused on preparing for the 14 Breeders’ Cup races as contenders ship into Del Mar from all over the world.

The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.) will host the 2024 T.I.P. Championships at Stable View in Aiken, S.C., which will be held Oct. 24-27 after its postponement due to Hurricane Helene.

The show welcomes hunter, jumper, English pleasure, dressage, combined test, Western pleasure, ranch riding, competitive trail, and in-hand competition.

This upcoming weekend marks the two-week countdown to the 41st Breeders’ Cup World Championships, held Nov. 1-2 at Del Mar. The fields for the 14 Breeders’ Cup races are coming into focus, with pre-entries scheduled to be released on Oct. 23.

As the Breeders’ Cup World Championships approach on Nov. 1-2, the excitement isn’t just about the horses — it’s about making a stylish statement. This season, equestrian fashion is experiencing a resurgence, particularly with the viral “horse girl fall” aesthetic taking over designer runways.

“This has been a life-changing experience for my daughter and has shaped her in more ways beyond just in the saddle,” said Sara Anderson.

Anderson and her 11-year-old daughter, Anna Huard, were searching for a horse that could become a long-term equine partner and compete in the 2018 Retired Racehorse Project's Thoroughbred Makeover.
