The first weekend of 2024 on the horse racing calendar is highlighted by two stakes races on Saturday, Jan. 6: the Jerome Stakes at Aqueduct, a qualifying points race for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve; and the San Vicente Stakes at Santa Anita Park, a sprint for newly turned 3-year-olds that occasionally has an impact on the road to the Kentucky Derby as well.

The Jerome Stakes plus other races from Aqueduct and action from Oaklawn Park will be featured on “America’s Day at the Races.” The NYRA-produced show airs for three consecutive days starting Friday, Jan. 5 on FS2 and FS1 – check the below schedule for channels and times.

The San Vicente plus more racing from Santa Anita throughout the weekend will be broadcast on FanDuel TV as part of its usual comprehensive package that also includes live racing from tracks such as Gulfstream Park, Fair Grounds, Turfway Park, and Golden Gate Fields.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.
