A Day in the Life of a Kentucky Derby Horse
The final leg of horse racing’s Triple Crown is set for Saturday, June 10, when the 155th Belmont Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets will be held at Belmont Park. This year marks a transition in national television coverage of the Triple Crown, as Fox Sports will show the 1 ½-mile “test of the champion” for the first time.
The Belmont Stakes will be broadcast nationwide on FOX during a show airing from 4 p.m.-7:30 p.m. ET. That show will also present live coverage of significant races on the Belmont Park undercard, including the Hill ‘n’ Dale Metropolitan Handicap or “Met Mile.”
Coverage of races at Belmont Park on June 10 will also air on NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races,” titled “America’s Day at the Belmont” for the special day. “America’s Day at the Races” will also show racing from Belmont on other days during the Belmont Racing Festival, airing on FS2 and FS1. Check the below schedule for air times.
Live racing from Santa Anita Park, Gulfstream Park, Monmouth Park, Woodbine, and other tracks will air on FanDuel TV as part of their usual comprehensive package.
Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.
For special event livestreaming coverage, ABR presents “NYRA Bets Belmont Stakes Preview LIVE” on Thursday, June 8, at 7 p.m. ET. Hosted by Dan Tordjman and Anita Marks and presented by NYRA Bets, the show will offer handicapping insights for Belmont Park’s stacked June 10 card. It airs on ABR’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channels and on Anita’s Twitter channel.
ABR’s “La Trifecta” airs Friday, June 9, this week at 8 p.m. ET. This Belmont Stakes preview show, presented en Español, the show is hosted by Darwin Vizcaya, Claudia Spadaro, and Annise Montplaisir. “La Trifecta” is sponsored by the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Association and the Florida Department of Agriculture and airs on ABR’s Instagram channel.
