Seattle Slew’s final resting place, he was buried whole whereas most are just their head, heart and hooves. The horse in the paddock is worth a cool $35million!! I’ve already forgotten his name, but his stud services command $250k guaranteed foal. There’s crazy $$ floating around Lexington. Another horse here’s worth $40mil. Some of these dry stack rock walls are OLD, they’re everywhere and still getting built the same way. The farms we saw had the double fences with rounded corners. You’ve heard of the horse of a different color? It’s a term used here to get the race horses used to seeing lighter horses. I ain’t gonna lie. Waking up with a view of these two girls every morning is pretty amazing. Although they have a ginormous pasture to graze in, they always come to the fence for some scratches whenever we call for them. They are both 2 year olds thoroughbreds.
