Another week, another major race on the road to the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve in the books. On Saturday, it was the Twinspires.com Louisiana Derby, the featured race of the Fair Grounds meet in New Orleans. It was also the first 100-point race on the Derby trail, which means that the winner got 100 points (more than enough to qualify for the Kentucky Derby) and the runner-up secured 40 points (also likely enough to make it to the Derby).
