Katie Davis is the daughter of Robbie Davis, who won 3,382 races from 1981 to 2002. Her siblings Jackie and Dylan also are professional jockeys while her father trains a small string of runners.
Katie took out her jockey's license in 2013 and earned her first stakes win in 2017 aboard Next Best Thing, who won the Conniver Stakes March 18 at Laurel Park.
In December 2020, Katie Davis and fellow rider Trevor McCarthy were married. McCarthy also is the son of a jockey.
