Pounce won her maiden in her first career race as a 2-year-old in a six-furlong dirt race at Churchill Downs on Nov. 19, 2023. She won her second race in in her third career start on the turf at Gulftstream Park in her 3-year-old debut on Feb. 11, 2024. Pounce became a stakes winner for the first time when she closed from last to first in an eight-horse field to win the Grade 3 $200,000 Herecomesthebride Stakes going one mile on the turf at Gulfstream Park on March 2.
