Loyalty

Loyalty won her first career start which came as a 3-year-old in a Woodbine maiden race on April 24, 2022, and subsequently won her second start in a Woodbine allowance race on May 28. She would become a multiple stakes winner by the time her 2022 season was over, first with a win in the Lady Erie Stakes on Aug. 8 at Presque Isle Downs, and then with another win in the Duchess Stakes on Oct. 1 at Woodbine.

Loyalty took the winter and spring off and returned to begin her 4-year-old campaign with a win off the layoff in a Woodbine allowance race on June 25, 2023. That win set her up nicely for a win in her following outing which was her Graded stakes debut in the $150,000 Grade 3 Hendrie Stakes going 6 1/2 furlongs on the synthetic main track surface at Woodbine on July 22.

Loyalty left the friendly confines of Woodbine to race next in the Grade 2 Presque Isle Downs Masters on a synthetic surface on Sept. 18 and finished fourth, then returned to Woodbine for his next race and ran third in the Grade 3 Ontario Fashion Stakes on Oct. 14. Loyalty then got back into the winner's circle in his next start which came back on the all-weather track at Woodbine in the Grade 2 $175,000 Bessarabian Stakes on Nov. 11. Sent off as the 3-1 favorite on the tote board in a wide-open field of 13 horses in the Bessarabian, Loyalty rallied from mid-pack in the seven-furlong race to win by 1 1/2 lengths.

Loyalty is trained by Josie Carroll. He was bred in Florida by the sire Hard Spun out of the mare Slew's Quality by Elusive Quality.
