Fun to Dream made her graded stakes debut as a 3-year-old a winning one on Santa Anita Park’s Dec. 26, 2022, opening-day card of its winter-spring meet, rallying to win the Grade 1 LaBrea Stakes by three quarters of a length over Awake At Midnyte. The Bob Baffert-trained filly had won four of five starts entering the LaBrea, including two stakes restricted to California-breds at Del Mar.

Fun to Dream picked up right where she left off in her 4-year-old debut outing on Feb. 4, 2023 in the Grade 2 Santa Monica Stakes. Sent off as the prohibitive 1-2 odds favorite in a field of six, Fun to Dream pushed her career record to six wins in seven lifetime races with a last-to-first 2 1/2-length win in a seven-furlong winning time of 1:22.75. Fun to Dream followed with a game runner-up finish after leading in deep stretch in the Grade 1 Beholder Mile Stakes March 11 at Santa Anita Park.
Baffert co-owns Fun to Dream with his wife Natalie and Connie Pageler, and co-bred the filly with Pageler. She is by rhe sire Arrogate out of the winning Maria’s Mon mare Lutess, who produced three-time stakes winner Heck Yeah, Fun to Dream’s half-brother.
