Foggy Night began her racing career at Parx as a 2-year-old in 2022 and won her maiden in her third career start on Oct. 19, 2022. Afterwards she shipped to Aqueduct and finished second in the Tempted Stakes on Nov. 6 and then finished her 2-year-old campaign with a sixth-place finish in the Grade 2 Demoiselle Stakes at Aqueduct on Dec. 3.
Foggy Night began her racing career at Parx as a 2-year-old in 2022 and won her maiden in her third career start on Oct. 19, 2022. Afterwards she shipped to Aqueduct and finished second in the Tempted Stakes on Nov. 6 and then finished her 2-year-old campaign with a sixth-place finish in the Grade 2 Demoiselle Stakes at Aqueduct on Dec. 3.
Foggy Night got back into the win column in her second start as a 3-year-old on June 5. 2023 when she won an allowance optional claiming race at Parx. That win launched her back into stakes competition in her next outing, which came in the Grade 3 $300,000 Delaware Oaks on July 1. Sent off as a 14-1 outsider on the tote board in a field of eight in the Delaware Oaks, Foggy Night stalked the pace close up and took control in the stretch and drew off to a 1 3/4-length victory in a winning 1 1/16-mile time of 1:45.07 on a fast main track.
Foggy Night is trained by Robert E. Reid Jr. She was bred in Florida by the sire Khozan out of the mare Settling Seas by Stormy Atlantic.
