Reid is based at Parx, but his biggest wins came at Churchill Downs in the 2011 Breeders’ Cup Marathon with Afleet Again, at Keeneland in the 2020 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies with Vequist, and at Saratoga Race Course in the Grade 1 Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap with Poseidon’s Warrior in 2012. Reid has 47 stakes wins and 12 graded stakes victories on his résumé through Nov. 6, 2020.

In December 2018, Reid trained Maximus Mischief to a win in the Grade 2 Remsen Stakes at Aqueduct, elevating the colt's status as a contender for the 2019 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve.
