Dixie Law, an Ontario-bred Tiz the Law filly, won her career debut sprinting on turf July 12, 2025, at Woodbine. Off of that 1 ½-length victory, she was elevated immediately to the Grade 1 level and finished sixth in the Johnnie Walker Natalma Stakes for juvenile fillies on turf in September.
The bay filly showed impressive development in her next two starts when stretched out to two turns, though, winning the Cup and Saucer Stakes at Woodbine on turf and then taking the Grade 3 Mazarine Stakes Presented by Ketel One held on Woodbine’s the all-weather track, both by open lengths.
