For the seventh year in a row, America’s Best Racing is challenging some of the brightest minds in horse betting to come up with their top three picks for key races every weekend leading up to the 2023 Triple Crown and then continuing through the 2023 Breeders’ Cup World Championships. The handicappers face off in what we like to call the “Big Race Showdown.”

Sunday, Oct. 8:
12:30-1 p.m. and 3-5 p.m. on FS2; 1-3 p.m. on FS1; 5-6 p.m. on CNBC; post time varies on FanDuel TV

The players’ picks will be posted here and a running bankroll will be kept to track their success all year long. Bankrolls will be tabulated on the basis of $2 exacta and $2 trifecta box bets of each player’s top three selections. We will also be keeping track of which playercorrectly selects the most winners.

This week’s Big Race Showdown races are: the $500,000 Champagne Stakes at the Belmont at the Big A meet, the $600,000 Claiborne Breeders' Futurity at Keeneland, the $300,000 American Pharoah Stakes at Santa Anita Park, all “Win and You’re In” Breeders’ Cup races this Saturday for the FanDuel Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Presented by Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance. The experts also make selections for Saturday's $1 million Coolmore Turf Mile Stakes, a Challenge Series qualifying race for the FanDuel Breeders’ Cup Mile Presented by Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund

Several Keeneland “Win and You’re In” races will be shown on CNBC and streamed on Peacock as the final broadcasts of NBC Sports’ Road to the Breeders’ Cup series. Those shows will run from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. ET Saturday and from 5 p.m.-6 p.m. ET Sunday and feature live coverage of races including the Coolmore Turf Mile Stakes and the Juddmonte Spinster StakesFanDuel TV will also broadcast those races and is the go-to network for comprehensive coverage of Keeneland’s meet, which runs through Oct. 27. A team of analysts will be on-site each day for in-depth reporting and handicapping, and every race will be shown live. FanDuel TV continues its daily coverage of many other tracks in North America and abroad, including three Breeders’ Cup preps at Santa Anita Park on Saturday and a big weekend at Woodbine featuring the Canadian International Stakes on Sunday. Racing from the Belmont at the Big A meet is showcased on NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races,” airing on either FS2 or FS1.
