A former assistant trainer to Rick Dutrow, Jr., Michelle Nevin set out on her own in early 2013 at Gulfstream Park. Since then, the trainer has won over 70 races including the Grade 1 Frizette Stakes with By the Moon and 2014 Matron Stakes with Paulasilverlining. By the Moon was her first Grade 1 stakes winner and will be adding another first to Nevin's resume when she runs in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies on Nov. 1, 2014.
